Artist Creates Winged “Bugs” From Computers And Video Games

From the base components that compose our Earth arose the living things – bacteria, plants, insects, animals and all. But what lifeforms emerge from of a planet whose materials have been transformed by technology?

UK artist Julie Alice Chappell creates a multiplicity of iridescent winged insects from old computers and video game systems. From circuit boards and silicon, she reimagines a fantastic taxonomy of “Computer Component Bugs”. Read more about her work here on My Modern Met.
