6 Visionary Creators Describe Their Views Of The Future

June 1st, 2015

Will 3D-printing humans on other planets be how we’ll conquer space travel? Disney recently asked TED to create a promo ad for their new movie, Tomorrowlandby asking TED2015 attendees for their beliefs about the future. Some of the most provocative material wasn’t used in the ad, so TED has released interviews with six influential visionaries in science, technology and society. Check out the videos below.

In We Ask 5 People Creating The Future: So, What Will It Be Like?, TED shares insights from the following creative thinkers:

Neil Gaiman (sci-fi writer)

Winner of numerous literary awards, including the Hugo, Nebula, and Bram Stoker awards, as well as the Newbery and Carnegie medals.

Juan Enrique (director of Synthetic Genomics)

Thinks and writes about profound changes that genomics will bring in business, technology, and society.

Sara Seager (MIT professor of planetary science and physics)
